For us, our 10th anniversary marked not only a milestone in our journey together but also an opportunity to reaffirm our love in a meaningful way. With a small group of close friends joining us, the captain of our boat chose Playa Zapotillal for its secluded charm and breathtaking scenery.

The Journey to Serenity

Accessing Playa Zapotillal requires a sense of adventure. We embarked on a scenic boat ride up the pacific coast past Culebra Bay, making our way to the secluded beach. As we approached, the sound of gentle waves and the sight of untouched coastline welcomed us—a perfect setting for our special day. The beach was covered with small crabs that would skitter around as we made our way to the forest's edge. As far as we could tell, there was no other way to access this beach. We had it all to ourselves.

Renewing Vows by the Ocean

We exchanged heartfelt words amidst the sound of crashing waves and the soft sand beneath their feet. With a makeshift "circle of trust" made from nearby fallen leaves and adorned with local flowers and the Pacific Ocean as our witness, we recommitted to a future filled with love, laughter, and shared adventures.

Celebrating with Loved Ones

Following the ceremony, we packed up and waded out to the boat once more and began our journey back south. As the sun began to set, casting hues of orange and pink across the sky, we reflected on our journey together with close friends and the memories created in this secluded paradise.
